Getting the most out of your hair starts with knowing your face shape. Not all haircuts look the same on everyone, and this is where the work of a good barber makes a difference.

HOW TO KNOW WHAT FACE SHAPE YOU HAVE
Take a mirror and look at the general contours of your face. The most common shapes are:
— Oval: forehead slightly wider than the chin, pronounced cheekbones. It is the most versatile shape.
— Round: similar width and length, full cheeks, soft chin.
— Square: pronounced jaw and wide forehead, angular lines.
— Rectangular/Elongated: longer than wide, forehead and jaw similar in width.
— Triangular: narrow chin and wide forehead (or vice versa).
WHICH CUT GOES BEST WITH EACH SHAPE
Oval face → You’re in luck: almost anything looks good on you. You can try anything from an undercut to a textured cut or even a quiff.
Round face → Look for height at the top to visually lengthen your face. Avoid very short sides that widen it. A high fade with volume on top works very well.
Square face → Soften the angles with cuts with texture and movement. A textured crop or a light quiff balance the jawline.
Rectangular face → Avoid too much volume on top, which would lengthen it even more. It’s better to add width on the sides with a medium or wavy cut.
Triangular face → Balance the proportions with volume on the sides at cheekbone height and little volume on the forehead.
